Steamer Clams

Hama Hama Clams® are bite-sized and buttery with a hint of salt. They're delicious and easy to cook. You can steam them open in a little bit of water, or you can make a broth with herbs, white wine and chicken stock. Be sure to stir clams once or twice as they steam to give those at the bottom of the pot space to open. When serving clams as appetizers, plan on 1/2 pound per person; for main dishes, serve 1 pound per person. We like them best dipped in melted butter and served with good bread. Priced and sold by the pound.
